Job summary

Savills Philippines is seeking a maintenance engineer for our on-site team in Makati. The role focuses on ensuring equipment functionality, monitoring utilities, and maintaining safety and compliance across the property.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a professional license and at least 1 year in property management. On-site work six days a week is required; a collaborative, safety‑minded approach is essential.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of work experience in the property management industry.
Willing to work on site.
Amenable to work six (6) days a week.

Responsibilities

Ensure equipment functionality, minimal downtime, and compliance with house rules.
Monitor utilities, inspect property, and promptly address tenant concerns.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and security across all property areas.
Implement preventive maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment.
Oversee vendor performance, set SLAs/KPIs, and ensure compliance with maintenance contracts.
Enforce fire safety procedures, inspections, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
Support energy management initiatives and track cost savings.
Supervise construction, fit-out works, and ensure compliance with design and permit requirements.
Keep all permits, documents, and technical reports updated and ISO-compliant.
Manage inventory and ensure material availability for operations.
Lead and coach technical and maintenance teams; ensure efficient communication and coordination.
Monitor expenses and utility consumption; assist in OPEX and CAPEX management.
Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and stakeholders to ensure quality service.
Recommend operational and technical process improvements.
Participate in company meetings, training, and professional development activities.

Educational Requirements
