Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to oversee maintenance, inspection and management of equipment and facilities across our commercial centers to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, is a licensed engineer, and has 2–3 years in Mall/Retail or Property Management. This on-site role requires hands-on planning and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Professional engineering licensure (registered mechanical or electrical engineer).
• 2–3 years of experience in Mall/Retail or Property Management industries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and facilities are in good working condition and cost-efficient.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities.
• Implement preventive maintenance and undertake corrective maintenance.
• Implement energy-conservation and cost-saving measures while monitoring utilities consumption.
• Track and communicate work-request status and completion.
• Monitor construction works and ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Prepare/review plans, estimates, and scope of works for projects.
• Monitor safety programs to prevent liability for the property.
• Assist in presentation and technical briefings, testing, verification and validation processes.

About The Role

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for handling the maintenance, inspection, and management of all equipment and facilities across our commercial centers to achieve customer satisfaction and operating cost efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition to achieve customer satisfaction and operating cost efficiencies
• Conduct regular inspection of all equipment and facilities
• Implement preventive maintenance and undertake corrective maintenance
• Implement energy-conservation and cost-saving measures while monitoring utilities consumption
• Track and communicate work request status and completion
• Monitor construction works and ensure that all guidelines are strictly followed
• Prepare/review plans, estimates, scope of works for various projects
• Monitor all safety programs to prevent exposure and decrease liability for the property
• Involved in preparation and delivery of presentation and technical briefings, testing, verification and validation processes as well as scheduling and as-built documentation

About You

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Registered Mechanical Engineer or Registered Electrical Engineer
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in Mall/Retail or Property Management industries
