A BS Nursing Faculty member is responsible for teaching, mentoring, and evaluating nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings. The faculty member develops and delivers nursing courses, supervises clinical experiences, evaluates student performance, participates in curriculum development, and contributes to research, community extension, and other academic activities.
Teach assigned BS Nursing subjects
Facilitate classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning activities
Supervise students during clinical duty and ensure patient-safety standards
Assess and document student learning and clinical competencies
Develop course syllabi, instructional materials, examinations, and other learning resources
Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students
Participate in curriculum review and quality-assurance activities
Engage in research, community extension, and professional activities
Maintain current knowledge of nursing practice, education, and relevant regulations
Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the institution
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); a master's degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or a related field is highly preferred or may be required depending on institutional and regulatory standards
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid professional license
Relevant clinical nursing experience, preferably in the area of teaching assignment
Prior teaching or clinical-instructor experience is an advantage
Strong communication, classroom management, clinical supervision, student assessment, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prepare lesson plans, learning materials, examinations, clinical requirements, and academic reports
Willingness to participate in continuing professional education, training, seminars, and other faculty-development activities
