You will assess borrower credit, collateral value, exit strategies, and overall deal viability to support fast but prudent lending decisions.

A finance or real estate background with 2+ years in bridge loan underwriting is required. Proficiency in valuation models and Excel, plus strong analytical and communication skills, are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate or related field.
• 2+ years of underwriting experience in bridge loans or related lending.
• Strong analytical, risk assessment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial reviews of bridge loan applications for viability and completeness.
• Order reports (title prelims, appraisals, BPOs) when required.
• Review title prelims to identify liens or ownership issues.
• Analyze borrower financials, liquidity, and real estate experience.
• Assess exit strategies and ROI for deal viability.
• Prepare underwriting summaries and recommendations for senior review.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and investor requirements.
• Maintain underwriting notes and documentation in the LOS.
