Job summary

Oriental Consultants Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Engineer to support the design, review, and technical delivery of roads and bridge infrastructure projects in the Philippines.

The role requires strong structural engineering capability, sound judgment, and the ability to ensure safe, constructible solutions in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree and a track record of 5–8 years in major bridge projects, with mobility for site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer preferred.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in major infrastructure (bridge) projects.
• Experience in bridge types such as PSCG, cable-stayed, arch, arch-truss, steel truss is preferred.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Bridge Engineer to support the design, review, and technical delivery of roads and bridge infrastructure projects. The role requires strong structural engineering capability, sound judgment, and the ability to ensure safe and constructible solutions in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer preferred
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in major infrastructure (bridge) project experience
• Experience in major bridge, expressway, railway, metro, viaduct, or infrastructure projects preferred
• Experience in any 3 of the following bridge types;
• a. Conventional PSCG bridge
• b. Cable-Stayed bridge
• c. Arch bridge
• d. Extradosed cable-stayed bridge
• e. Steel truss bridge
• f. Arch-Truss bridge

Technical Role

• a. Bridge design or bridge design review experience
• b. Can work with minimal supervision
• Knowledgeable in Bridge Design Codes and Standards (DPWH Design Guidelines, Criteria, and Standards or AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications)
• Software: CSI Bridge / MIDAS / RM Bridge proficiency
• Construction Exposure: Minimum 5 years of large infrastructure project (bridge) exposure Site / construction support experience
• Engineering Judgement: Structural behavior understanding (Ability to interpret bridge load paths and structural response under various loading and construction conditions)
• Risk identification & intuitive engineering insight (optioneering during feasibility studies to compare and recommend viable structural solutions)
• Engineering Review Skill: Ability to assess bridge designs for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
• Mobility: Willingness for site assignment (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao), Can work as soon as possible is an advantage.
