Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Customer Sales and Service Associate to handle cash and non-cash banking transactions at Santiago and Cauayan branches. You will assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, account openings, and cross-sell bank products while maintaining compliance and accurate records.

You will conduct KYC procedures, balance cash, and support branch operations, ensuring timely service and adherence to security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Processes over-the-counter transactions, such as cash and check deposits, withdrawals, encashment/check payments, bills payments and miscellaneous/sundry transactions
• Processes auxiliary transactions including foreign exchange, sale of manager's check and demand draft, remittance, bills purchase, debit card and checkbook requests, bank certification and bank statement requests, check-free enrollment, stop payment order, etc
• Maintains working cash supply within prescribed limit and balances own transactions at end of day
• Processes opening of accounts and ensures single customer RM record is used
• Conducts KYC and explains terms to customers
• Ensures all KYC/transaction documents are complete, scanned and filed; scans signature cards and prepares KYC documents for scanning
• Updates customer contact information and bank records
• Handles amendments to customer records with proper approvals
• Seeks necessary approvals for transactions beyond authority limits
• Conducts enhanced due diligence on applicable transactions
