Job Role: Bookkeeping & Invoicing Specialist

Compensation Range: $1,600 AUD - $1,800 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule:

This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Invoicing Specialist to join the team and support the accurate processing of invoices and bookkeeping-related data.

This role will focus heavily on invoice processing, bookkeeping data entry, and maintaining accurate records in the company’s database. The successful candidate will be comfortable handling large volumes of financial data and repetitive transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and enter a high volume of invoices and financial data into the company’s database.
• Accurately record invoice details, amounts, dates, suppliers, and other relevant information.
• Review invoices and supporting information to ensure entries are complete and accurate.
• Cross-check data and identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential errors before completing entries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records within the database.
• Perform regular data entry and bookkeeping tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
• Organise and maintain invoice and financial records for easy reference and retrieval.
• Assist with the day-to-day processing and recording of financial transactions.
• Ensure invoices and related information are entered and processed in a timely manner.
• Review completed entries to identify and correct errors.
• Handle large volumes of financial information while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Follow established processes and procedures for invoice and bookkeeping data entry.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and business information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable, or a similar finance-related role.
