Job summary

MicroSourcing in Clark, Pampanga is seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting. You will handle bookkeeping transactions, reconciliations, month-end activities, and ensure data is complete, accurate, and compliant while helping improve processes and internal controls.

This hybrid, night-shift role requires 3+ years' experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, and solid AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and GL maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Hands-on experience with AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, payroll accounting, and prepaid expenses.
• Basic knowledge of inventory accounting.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records using QuickBooks.
• Process and reconcile AR, bank transactions, deposits, and general ledger accounts.
• Manage prepaid expenses and monitor inventory-related transactions, including fuel inventory where applicable.
• Process vendor bills and support AP activities, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including payroll-related adjustments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and SOPs.
• Support ad hoc accounting tasks, financial reporting, and operational projects as required.

Your Role

As a Bookkeeper, you will maintain accurate financial records and support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. You will be responsible for handling bookkeeping transactions, reconciliations, month-end activities, and ensuring financial data is complete, accurate, and compliant while helping improve accounting processes and internal controls.

What You'll Do

• Process and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR), bank transactions, deposits, and general ledger accounts.
• Manage prepaid expenses and monitor inventory-related transactions, including fuel inventory where applicable.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, payroll accounting, and prepaid expenses.
• Basic knowledge of inventory accounting.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent bookkeeping certification.
• Experience with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.
• Background supporting small to medium-sized businesses.
• Experience managing fuel, commodity, or inventory accounting is an advantage.
