You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close support, while ensuring compliance with policies. The position emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions and up-to-date records.
• Process AP/AR transactions accurately and timely.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and other records.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Generate financial reports to support business decisions.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll records.
• Support the accounting team with finance-related administrative tasks.

Your Role

As a Bookkeeper, you will:

• Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions and ensure all financial records are up to date.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial records comply with company policies and accounting standards.
• Generate financial reports and provide timely financial information to support business decision-making.
• Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll-related records.
• Support the accounting team with finance-related administrative tasks and contribute to process improvements.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience processing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience supporting month-end close activities and preparing financial reports.
• Exposure to payroll processing and payroll recordkeeping.
• Experience maintaining general ledger records and performing account reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with finance and cross-functional teams.
