Job summary

MicroSourcing in Manila is seeking an Expert Bookkeeper for onsite night shifts at Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City. You will record, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial records across QuickBooks Online and Xero, supporting A/P, A/R, and payroll functions.

The role emphasizes meticulous data entry, timely reporting, and strong client service as you collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping with financial-record responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR and trust reconciliations.
• Experience reconciling payments via gateways like Stripe, PayPal, Square, or eWay.
• Excellent analytical thinking and ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, or Salesforce.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client relations focus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field preferred.

Your Role

• As a Bookkeeper, You Will: Record, maintain, and reconcile accurate financial transactions to ensure the integrity of the company's financial records across platforms like QuickBooks and Xero.
• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including tenant/vendor bills entry, utility monitoring, and management fee reviews.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and complex monthly trust accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
• Monitor, record, and process daily sales and refunds across multiple payment gateways including Stripe, PayPal, eWay, and Square.
• Prepare clear reports on financial performance, hourly/daily sales, monthly cash flows, and month-to-date variance reports for management review.
• Utilize and maintain workflows within financial tracking tools and data software (such as Power BI, Salesforce, SmartVault, or Drake).
• Maintain organized digital financial records and supporting documents, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and easy retrieval for audits.
• Resolve billing, payment, and reconciliation discrepancies through excellent coordination and relationship-building with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide general bookkeeping, payroll support, and high-touch client service to ensure a successful overall client experience.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Proven experience in an accounting, finance support, or property management bookkeeping role with responsibility for maintaining accurate financial records.
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero for day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record management.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, trust reconciliations, and core bookkeeping principles.
• Direct experience managing and reconciling high-volume customer payments and refunds through gateways like Stripe, PayPal, Square, or eWay.
• Excellent analytical thinking with a proven ability to identify, investigate, and resolve potential financial inconsistencies.
• Proficiency in data tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, or Salesforce).
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to maximize productivity and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex technical/financial matters clearly and simply.
• A client-focused mindset with a background or strong capability in client relations, customer service, or payroll support.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related financial field is highly preferred.
