Job summary

TOA Global Pty in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. You will manage day-to-day transactions, process payables and receivables, and perform bank reconciliations up to trial balance while supporting month-end workflows.

The role requires 1–2 years Australian bookkeeping experience, a relevant accounting education, and proficiency in Excel plus cloud platforms such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy or related course, Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or currently undertaking studies.
• At least 1 to 2 years of Australian bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and cloud accounting platforms like Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks.
• Solid grasp of bookkeeping fundamentals, attention to detail, time-management, and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day transaction processing and data entry, process accounts payable and receivable, and create supplier batch payment files.
• Perform regular bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with BAS, payroll processing, debtor management, and month-end/year-end reporting.
• Maintain client and supplier records and respond to internal and external inquiries.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance and accounting team. You will manage day-to-day transactions, process accounts payable and receivable, execute bank reconciliations up to the trial balance stage, and support broader month-end compliance workflows.

Your Impact

• Day-to-Day Transaction Processing: Handle general data entry, process accounts payable and receivable transactions, and create supplier batch payment files accurately.
• Accounts Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure complete financial record accuracy.
• Compliance & Reporting Support: Assist with the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), payroll processing, debtor management, and month-end/year-end reporting processes.
• Administrative & Team Support: Maintain up-to-date client and supplier records, organize electronic financial documentation, and respond professionally to internal and external enquiries.

What You Bring

• Education & Credentials: Graduate of Accountancy or a related course, Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or currently undertaking studies.
• The Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of dedicated Australian bookkeeping experience.
• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and working knowledge of modern cloud accounting software platforms such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
• Core Competencies: Solid grasp of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals, rigorous attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and effective written and verbal English communication abilities.
