Job summary

TOA Global is hiring an AU Junior Bookkeeper to support Australian clients from the Philippines. The role focuses on end-to-end bookkeeping, ensuring accurate ledgers and compliant BAS/IAS, with exposure to cloud accounting tools.

The position requires 1–2 years of Australian bookkeeping experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online. Work is in a Monday–Friday shift with competitive PHP salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of mandatory bookkeeping experience within an Australian accounting or bookkeeping firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting software Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities

• Master the daily ledger with accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed workpapers; assist BAS/IAS under supervision.
• Support Australian payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll rules.
• Collaborate with a global team and maintain timely data entry in Xero/MYOB/QuickBooks.

• Master of the Daily Ledger: Take charge of accounts payable and receivable processing with high precision. Perform critical bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring that every cent is accounted for and that financial records remain pristine.

• Architect of Accurate Workpapers: Build the foundation for high-level reporting by preparing and maintaining detailed workpapers. Under the guidance of senior accountants, assist in the preparation of BAS and IAS, ensuring that compliance is never an afterthought.

• Payroll & Compliance Support: Step into the technical world of Australian payroll processing. Help ensure that employee entitlements and pay cycles are handled in strict accordance with Australian requirements, maintaining workforce trust and security.

• Strategic Team Collaborator: Work as a vital part of a wider global team to meet strict client deadlines. Maintain timely and accurate data entry into systems like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks to ensure the firm delivers world-class service to its partners.

What You Bring
