ClearDesk is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage daily ledger activities, invoices, and payroll for a remote homecare provider serving US clients. You will ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and precise payroll processing, while maintaining strong controls and professional communication with clients.
You should be comfortable working US time zones, with a reliable home office setup including a stable internet connection and appropriate hardware.
Do you take pride in a ledger that balances to the penny? Are you the kind of person who spots a discrepancy before anyone else does, keeps billing and payroll on schedule week after week, and can have a firm but friendly conversation about a missed payment? If you thrive on accuracy, routine, and follow-through, and want to play a meaningful part in keeping a care organization financially healthy, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
The two founders, best friends, were running businesses that needed great talent fast. So, they started building remote teams across countries like the Philippines, Colombia, and India. Not only did it work, it thrived. They realized that talent isn’t limited by geography. With today’s technology and high-speed internet, we’re able to build high-performing global teams that support businesses across the U.S. So ClearDesk was born.
Today, ClearDesk helps U.S. businesses grow by building world-class remote teams. We don’t just connect talent; we manage the entire experience, from recruiting to retention. And while we help clients thrive, we also stay deeply committed to helping our remote team members build real, lasting careers that support their lives and their families.
That’s where you come in.
Imagine being the person who keeps the financial engine of a homecare business running smoothly. Every invoice you send, every bill you verify, and every payroll you process helps ensure that clients are billed correctly, vendors are paid on time, and caregivers are paid accurately on Friday.
You’re not just entering numbers. You’re maintaining the integrity of the books, catching errors and potential fraud through careful reconciliation, and keeping cash flowing by following up professionally on failed payments and collections.
You thrive on structure and weekly rhythm, are comfortable picking up the phone when a payment issue comes up, and don’t wait to be told the next step. Whether you’re running Monday billing, finalizing Tuesday night payroll, or cross-checking a credit card statement against the ledger, you bring accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail to everything you touch.
