Job summary

Yapster E-Trade, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Assistant to help with tax compliance and BIR filing, supporting daily accounting tasks and ensuring timely returns.

Responsibilities include filing BIR tax returns, processing payments, preparing alphalists, assisting month-end close, and supporting audits. Fresh graduates are welcome; knowledge of BIR and government reporting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related course
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Preferably with at least 1 year of accounting experience
• Knowledge in BIR filing and government reporting is an advantage
• Familiar with basic accounting processes (AR, AP, GL)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn
• Can meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file BIR tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, Percentage Tax, etc.)
• Assist in processing tax payments and monitoring deadlines
• Prepare Alphalists and other BIR attachments; help ensure compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG requirements
• Record tax-related transactions and maintain proper documentation
• Assist in month-end closing and reconciliation
• Support audit and compliance requirements
