Job summary

Easy Buy Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting within our Finance and Accounting Department in Pasay.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Accountancy or related course, 1–2 years in accounting, and knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR filings. Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks is preferred, with strong attention to detail. On-site role with opportunities to contribute to tax filings and audits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or any related business course.
• Preferably with at least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related work.
• Experience in BIR tax filings, tax compliance, and preparation of tax-related documents is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation, including applicable BIR forms, withholding taxes, and filing deadlines.
• Familiarity with government compliance requirements and supporting documents.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other accounting or financial software.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and capable of handling confidential financial information.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance and Accounting Department with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Prepare, review, and organize invoices, receipts, vouchers, billing statements, and other financial documents.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, expense reports, and accounting schedules.
• Encode and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing and filing BIR tax returns and other tax-related documents, including withholding taxes.
• Monitor tax filing deadlines, tax payments, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of BIR forms and supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements, cash transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Help maintain organized records for BIR audits, tax assessments, and other government compliance matters.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, banks, and external accountants when necessary.
