Job summary

Oak Hill Bio seeks an experienced Finance Manager / FP&A Lead to join our growing finance team, supporting US and UK operations. This hands-on role covers FP&A, financial reporting, accounting, and multi-entity close processes, delivering timely, high-quality reporting and insightful financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has biotech or life sciences experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and a data-driven mindset to drive business decisions across groups in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Significant experience in finance, FP&A, financial reporting, or related areas.
• Strong biotech or life sciences industry experience is essential.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with UK GAAP.
• Experience with US/SEC reporting and related requirements.
• Experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis skills.
• Experience in a multi-entity organization.
• Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis.
• Provide insights into financial performance, trends and drivers.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop financial plans and forecasts.
• Translate data into clear insights for leadership.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close across entities.
• Ensure accurate US/UK reporting and standardize practices.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and projects as the business evolves.
