Job Description

• Develop and implement biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of pathogens.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities within the organization.
• Train staff on biosecurity measures and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with biosecurity regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate biosecurity programs and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Technology, or Animal Health Management.
• 3–5 years of experience in swine or poultry farm operations, animal health management, or biosecurity programs.
• Knowledge of livestock diseases, biosecurity risk assessment, SOP development, farm management, data recording/reporting, leadership, staff training, and problem‑solving.
