Job summary

Arcadis Philippines is seeking a skilled BIM Modeller to create and verify BIM models and civil drawings for Water Civils projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery within the Design & Engineering teams.

You will implement BIM Execution Plans, coordinate with other disciplines, resolve technical issues, and support the BIM Manager to deliver compliant, buildable designs.

Experience with Revit and Navisworks, plus knowledge of BIM standards, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3+ years' experience as BIM Modeller.
• Experience with Water and Wastewater projects is preferred.
• Experience with Revit software is advantageous.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and UK water sector delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce and verify BIM models and civil drawings for Water Civils projects.
• Ensure technical and quality assurance, and liaise with clients.
• Resolve design issues and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Implement BIM Execution Plan and project workflows.
• Prepare discipline models for BIM Coordination Meetings.

Role Accountabilities

• Production and verification of BIM models and civil drawings for selected projects (or components of projects) for Water Civils team.
• Responsibility for technical assurance, quality assurance, client feedback, effective communication.
• Resolving technical issues.
• Support and reinforce a culture of quality assurance and accountability within the team.
• Liaising with and assisting the design professional and BIM Manager
• Adhere to the schedule and quality requirements.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines to mitigate design challenges.
• Implementing BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria and follow BIM standards and procedures.
• Prepare own discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
• High level of communication and good writing skills.
• Leveraging BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.
• Lead on developing some discipline specific BIM modeling content for project.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
• 3+ years' experience as BIM Modeller.
• EngTech/IEng/ISO 19650 Certification/Software competency certification status/ membership of a professional institution such as ICE or working towards it will be an added advantage
• Experience and track record in technical delivery of Water and Wastewater projects.
• Experience in Revit software will be an added advantage.
• Experience of working on design and construct projects using digital design platforms
• Feasibility to Detailed design stage delivery experience for various UK water companies and knowledge of BIM standards.

Software Capability

• Experience of BIM tools such as Autodesk REVIT, Navisworks Manage, ACC/ BIM 360 and Civils 3D
• AutoCAD - for drawing linkage and cleanup.
• General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish own discipline tasks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
