Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a senior BIM Lead to manage modeling and drawing production for large, multi-discipline projects in a BIM environment. You will coordinate with the BIM Manager, discipline leads, and engineers to ensure deliverables meet EIR and project standards.

You will delegate workloads, mentor modellers, perform QA/QC on drawings, and help maintain up-to-date models in the collaborative project system. Overseas experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience with BIM on multi-discipline projects.
• Experience in design consulting is required.
• Experience in Reinforced Concrete Detailing is required.
• Overseas experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Delegate the workload to the modellers comprising teams from other Disciplines and coordinating clash detection and resolution activities.
• Provide oversight on workflow within the project and coordinate with BIM Manager to any found issues.
• Support the engineers with issues related to drawing standards and usage of BIM software’s and mentor the BIM modellers with any queries they have and to assist with modelling when required.
• Able to coordinate with lead engineers and other disciplines and able to setup/develop new BIM model projects, maintain workability and efficiency.
• Perform QA/QC on technical drawing before handing over to the BIM Manager for final checking and ensure the latest model is always up to date and correctly stored in the collaborative project management system.

Role description:

This role will be responsible to use technical knowledge and experience to apply technical and practical engineering production skills in a BIM environment for typically larger and more complex projects. To lead a team in BIM model and drawing production for single discipline in coordination with BIM Manager and discipline lead. For model delivery and ensuring compliance with project and company standards and meets clients Exchange Information Requirements (EIR). For coordination, clash report and resolution activities. For coordination with lead engineers and other discipline leads. To support the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans and project delivery strategy. To support the BIM Manager in coordinating multi-discipline BIM environment on typically large or more complex projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Preferably 8 years of experience working with relevant BIM software’s on Multi-Discipline BIM projects.
• Job experience in design consulting firm is required.
• Experience in Reinforced Concrete Detailing is required
• Overseas Experience is advantage (work in other countries or project design outsourcing company).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
