We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler / Revit Technician to join our team and support the development of structural BIM models and construction documents for U.S.-based projects. The role involves developing BIM models in Revit, producing drawings and schedules, coordinating with engineers, and following BIM standards.

About the role

MBJ Connectiv, Inc. is a structural design and detailing firm supporting Meyer Borgman Johnson (MBJ), a U.S.-based structural engineering company. We are looking for a skilled and motivated BIM Modeler / Revit Technician to join our growing team and support the development of structural BIM models and construction documents for U.S.-based projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit
• Produce sheets, drawings, details, schedules, and other project documentation
• Set-up and manage worksets, linked models, views, filters, and drawing graphics/presentation
• Develop models and drawings from engineering sketches, markups, and design concepts
• Effectively coordinate and collaborate with engineers and other BIM modelers
• Maintain quality control of models and drawings throughout various stages of project development
• Identify modeling and coordination issues and proactively work with the team on solutions
• Provide project support and back-up assistance to other team members when required
• Follow company standards and BIM industry best practices
• Work with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Forma, AutoCAD, and other BIM platforms as required

About you

• At least 2 years of full-time professional Autodesk Revit experience in an engineering, architecture, design, or construction environment
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows
• Good understanding of BIM standards and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Good communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Able to manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a project-based environment
• Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, ACC, Forma, or other Autodesk/BIM tools is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Drafting Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required
