ESCA Incorporated seeks an experienced BIM Modeler to create and manage high-quality 3D MEPS models for complex facilities such as data centers. You will convert 2D drawings to Revit, perform 3D piping with CADworks, and coordinate multi-discipline clashes to ensure buildable models.
Your role involves collaborating with engineering teams, defending designs in client reviews, and ensuring compliance with standards while handling fast-paced deadlines.
Primary Purpose
The BIM Modeler creates, manages, and delivers high-quality, clash-free 3D Building Information Models (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sanitary (MEPS) engineering projects. This role focuses on high-complexity environments such as Data Centers or Oil & Gas facilities with a strong emphasis on tool installation works, 3D piping design, and multi-trade coordination.
Convert 2D design drawings into detailed 3D Revit models based on client-specified Levels of Development (LOD) for complex MEPS systems and tool installations.
Execute precise 3D piping designs using CADworks and generate clear construction drawings directly from models.
Identify and resolve multi-trade clashes using Navisworks or BIM 360 to ensure conflict-free, buildable models.
Partner proactively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to streamline model integration and resolve spatial conflicts.
Perform quality checks for compliance with client standards and defend technical work during client model reviews.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, ECE, Sanitary) or Architecture.
At least 5 years of hands-on BIM modeling experience in the AEC industry, specifically with a strong background in MEPS engineering.
Prior background in Data Center or Oil & Gas projects, specifically in Tool Installation Works, is highly preferred.
Software Skills:
Autodesk Revit (Must-have)
CADworks (3D Piping Design)
Autodesk Navisworks and AutoCAD (BIM 360/ACC is a plus)
BIM Modeling Certification is a major advantage; strong ability to interpret complex technical drawings under fast-paced deadlines.
