Our Clients is seeking a BIM Detailer in Pasig City to produce accurate reinforcement models and detailed drawings for fabrication and installation of reinforced modular cages. The role collaborates with technical, project, site, and manufacturing teams to ensure outputs meet project requirements and standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in rebar detailing, strong Tekla Structures skills, and practical BIM experience within a collaborative project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required
• Licensed Civil Engineer status is required
• Minimum 2 years experience with Tekla Structures
• Minimum 3 years experience in rebar detailing
• Proficient in Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Trimble Connect and MS Office

Responsibilities

• BIM & Rebar Detailing: develop 3D reinforcement models, prepare workshop drawings, create BBS and fabrication data
• Project & Technical Coordination: coordinate detailing with teams, review constructability, improve processes
• Quality & Documentation: ensure compliance with standards, maintain version control, meet timelines and drive process improvements

Role Overview

The BIM Detailer is responsible for producing accurate reinforcement models, detailed drawings, and fabrication documentation required for the production and installation of reinforced modular cages and related components. The role works with technical, project, site, and manufacturing teams to ensure detailing outputs meet project requirements, applicable standards, and established procedures.

Responsibilities

BIM & Rebar Detailing

• Develop detailed 3D reinforcement models using Tekla Structures.
• Prepare workshop drawings to support fabrication and manufacturing activities.
• Produce detailed drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and fabrication information based on project requirements.
• Interpret technical design drawings and specifications to develop accurate reinforcement details.
• Apply BIM standards to support coordination with wider project models and collaboration platforms.

Project & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate detailing requirements with technical teams, project managers, and site teams.
• Review constructability requirements and help address technical queries during detailing and construction.
• Work with manufacturing teams to improve bar cutting, bending, and fabrication processes.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and logistics teams throughout project execution.

Quality & Documentation

• Ensure detailing work follows relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and version control for drawings and other detailing outputs.
• Deliver required outputs within agreed project timelines.
• Contribute to improvements in detailing processes, including automation and digital integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer
• At least 2 years of experience using Tekla Structures.
• At least 3 years of experience in rebar, reinforcement, or detailing.
• Knowledge and practical application of rebar detailing standards.
• Experience developing 3D reinforcement models.
• Experience working within a BIM environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Trimble Connect, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with rebar estimating software, with strong Excel skills.
• On-site experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with close attention to detail.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate across design, manufacturing, and logistics functions.
