Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a BIM modeller to join the BIM team and collaborate with the design team on APAC projects. You will create and maintain 3D models using BIM software, work closely with architects, engineers and other design professionals, and ensure models meet project requirements while resolving clashes during the design phase.

You will use BIM to support constructability reviews, quantity take-offs and lifecycle operations, maintain data integrity across disciplines, and stay current

Job description

We are looking for a BIM modeller to join our BIM team and work with our design team on various projects across APAC.

Role tasks and responsibilities:

The candidate must have the ability to conduct the following:

• Creating and maintaining 3D models using BIM software.
• Regularly collaborating with architects, engineers, and other members of the design and construction team.
• Ensuring the models are accurate and meet project requirements and using the models to identify and resolve conflicts or issues during the design phase.
• Use BIM to support constructability reviews, quantity take-offs, and operations during the project's lifecycle.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across different BIM models and disciplines and stay current on updates and advancements in BIM technology.

• The will and ability to support the design team to support on all BIM works.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and plans.
• Advanced math and computer skills.
• Creativity and artistic ability.
• An Engineering degree in civil or architectural engineering is preferred, or what is equivalent to that in years of experience
• Strong communication skills - written and oral (informal and presentation to board level).
