Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, liberal arts, or related field.
• Prior experience in a billing role.
• General understanding of accounting/principles and professional services accounting environment.
• Knowledge of financial systems (SAP preferred).
• Good MS Office skills (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent English communication (verbal/written).
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices per Firm billing policies and standard processes.
• Prepare draft invoices, revise narratives, and finalize invoices for delivery by e-mail, post, or e-billing.
• Identify and resolve issues; escalate to management as needed.
• Maintain and update client billing information and requirements for invoicing.
• Evaluate complex situations using multiple information sources and analytical judgment.
• Work independently with limited supervision to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Communicate ideas clearly and concisely, with respect for audience diversity.
• Demonstrate tact and diplomacy when handling sensitive issues.
