Job summary

AECOM seeks a proposal support professional to assist with large bids and lead smaller proposals across regions and business lines. You will coordinate content, schedules, templates, and production, while guiding document design and resume/past performance writing.

The role involves go/no-go analyses, capturing client feedback, and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. AECOM offers a collaborative, globally oriented environment with onboarding at a local office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least four (4) years Bid support experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures related to proposal management (RFQ/P).
• Experienced in proposal and presentation writing and production.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of graphic design and brand guidelines; able to collaborate with corporate identity.
• Skills in Adobe Creative (InDesign) and Salesforce would be highly regarded.

Job Description

Job Brief

Interfaces with business line growth team and operations to support the process of winning work. Leads responses to client RFI/RFQ/RFPs and applies standard pursuit processes to ensure efficiency in schedule and bid compliance. Responsible for print, electronic and oral proposal deliverables. Provides market research and competitive intelligence and leverages data systems and tools to support proposal strategy and business strategic planning efforts.

Job Summary

• Assists with large proposals and able to lead small to medium proposals (cross regions or business lines), and supports from capture through to interview stage, as required.
• Coordinates content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan and production. Provides conceptual leadership for document design. May serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections for proposals.
• May facilitate color review (Pink and Red team) reviews, and apply lessons learned to add value to proposals. Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
• Participates in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal.
• Completes internal debriefs for proposals they lead and reviews debriefs and reviews client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement.
• Has solid working knowledge of company quality procedures and approval processes (legal, contracts, DOA, signatory).
• Liaises with appropriate/relevant business line team, operations, technical, and business development professionals to support or develop marketing information (including but not limited to case studies/project sheets and capabilities summaries).
• Provides guidance to entry level proposal team members
• Performs a self-check of work prior to submitting to others for review/approval

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least four (4) years Bid support experience, preferably within a professional services firm in a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and toolsas related to proposal management of RFQ/P responses
• Experienced in proposal and presentation writing and production
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint
• Understanding of graphic design and an eye for communicating content visually – can effectively use our brand guidelines and work with our corporate identity
• Skills in Adobe Creative especially InDesign and Salesforce experience would be highly regarded
