Job summary

Nexperia is a world-class semiconductor company seeking a BG BE Test Engineer for our Back End site in Laguna, Philippines. You will be the primary resource for MOS Final Test tasks, aligned with MOS Discretes, and will deploy and maintain Final Test capabilities across BE locations.

You will drive test equipment, support NPI, analyze data, and collaborate with Industrial Test and Product Engineering. Travel is required; a degree in ECE/EE/ME and semiconductor experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (ECE/EE/ME) or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor Final Test or related support.
• Background in power semiconductor devices, ideally Power MOSFET and Bipolar testing.
• Experience setting up Test Equipment/Tester/Test Handler/Contacts.
• Experience supporting R&D/NPI and new packages/devices, including test jobs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and keep stakeholders informed.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Power BI, JMP, Spotfire).
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure BG MOS Final Test capability and best practices across BE locations.
• Drive and recommend RTP for new products/test equipment.
• Identify requirements for Safe Launch to support volume ramp-up.
• Support NPI/new package development; recommend test setup equipment.
• Implement new testing methods or equipment on the BE line.
• Enhance testing to protect Final Test Yield.
• Increase BE line capacity; perform advanced measurements for inquiries.
• Report to BG MOS Industrial Test and Product Engineering manager.
