Job summary

International Elevator & Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Building Automation Systems (BAS) professional to work alongside the Sales Engineer.

The role involves responding to inquiries from architects, engineers, contractors, and owners, and developing BAS solutions aligned with client requirements and project specifications. You will prepare control system architecture, wiring diagrams, BOQ, and points lists, test BAS control logic, and configure HMIs to meet client standards.

Qualifications

• Prepare control system architecture, wiring diagrams, bill of quantities, and points list.
• Create and test BAS control logic based on client requirements and sequence of operation.
• Configure control panels, field devices, and HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Customize user interface and graphical displays for BAS to conform with client specifications.
• Ensure compliance of installation and wiring with design docs and safety standards.
• Perform FAT, SAT, testing and commissioning (T&C) and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and programming documentation.
• Provide technical support, training, and after-sales services such as service calls and preventive maintenance.

About the role

Together with Sales Engineer, attends to inquiries and assists architects, engineers, contractors and owners regarding the requirements for building automation system. Develop building automation system (BAS) solutions based on the client requirements and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare control system architecture, wiring diagrams, bill of quantities, and points list

• Create and test BAS control logic in accordance with agreed control philosophy or sequence of operation with the client

• Configure control panels, field devices, and Human-Machine interfaces (HMIs)

• Customize user interface and graphical displays for BAS to conform with client specifications

• Ensure compliance of installation and wiring implementation with design documentation and safety standards

• Perform factory acceptance test (FAT), site acceptance test (SAT), testing and commissioning (T&C), and troubleshooting to resolve integration issues

• Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and programming documentation

• Provide technical support, training, and after-sales services like service calls and preventive maintenance works
