Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Bartender and/or Barista in hospitality/food service.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixing techniques and spirit classifications.
• Proficient with espresso machines and coffee equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong hygiene standards and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to work well in a team.
• Bartending certification or relevant qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages with accuracy and flair.
• Craft specialty coffee drinks using espresso machines and equipment.
• Take orders efficiently and recommend menu items, spirits, wines, and coffee.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic bar and beverage station following safety protocols.
• Monitor stock levels and alert management for replenishment.
• Operate POS system, handle payments and cash/card transactions.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and build rapport.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house for seamless service.
• Stay updated on beverage trends and suggest creative options.
