About the role

Excello Restaurant Management Group is seeking an experienced and talented Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology expertise and customer service excellence in a fast-paced, professional bar environment. As a Bartender, you will be at the heart of our guest experience, crafting exceptional beverages whilst maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness and professionalism. This role is integral to creating memorable experiences for our patrons and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere our establishments are known for.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including cocktails, spirits, wines and beers
• Taking orders efficiently and accurately whilst maintaining engaging conversation with guests
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area, including proper inventory management and stock rotation
• Demonstrating extensive knowledge of beverages, ingredients, flavour profiles and pairing recommendations to enhance the guest experience
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and handling cash and card transactions securely
• Following all health, safety and food hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and compliant bar environment
• Collaborating effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver seamless service during peak and off-peak periods
• Suggesting premium products and upselling opportunities whilst maintaining genuine hospitality
• Adhering to responsible serving practices and refusing service when necessary in accordance with legal requirements
• Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting colleagues to maintain service standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Bartender in high-volume, upmarket hospitality venues or restaurants
• Advanced knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixing techniques, spirits and wine profiles
• Proficiency in creating both classic and contemporary cocktails with speed and consistency
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Responsible approach to alcohol service and thorough understanding of local licensing laws
• Certification in bartending or mixology from a recognised institution, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Professional appearance and demeanour with exceptional personal grooming standards
• Team player mentality with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment
