Overview

We are looking for an energetic and friendly Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, creating a warm and welcoming environment for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty drinks.
• Greet customers warmly and take their orders, providing suggestions when needed.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment to make beverages.
• Ensure that all coffee products meet quality standards for taste and presentation.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining area, including equipment and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and notify the manager when restocking is needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and restocking.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including maintaining hygiene and safety in food and beverage preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in barista skills or hospitality is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Passion for coffee and a desire to learn and improve skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of coffee types is a plus.
