Job summary

You will take orders, ensure quality service, and maintain bar cleanliness and stock levels. Ideal candidates will follow standard recipes, manage costs, handle payments, and adhere to safety regulations while delivering friendly guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, spirits, coffee, and other refreshments.
• Take beverage orders accurately and provide friendly and professional service to guests.
• Prepare drinks according to standard recipes, presentation guidelines, and customer preferences.
• Ensure proper portioning and handling of alcoholic beverages to minimize wastage and maintain cost control.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar area, equipment, utensils, and glassware.
• Check and maintain adequate stocks of beverages, garnishes, bar supplies, and other necessary materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
• Properly handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods when required.
• Ensure that all beverages are served at the appropriate temperature and in proper glassware.
• Provide recommendations to guests regarding beverages, cocktails, and other available selections when requested.
• Verify the identification of guests when required and comply with applicable regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain a professional appearance and observe proper grooming and hygiene standards at all times.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, and elevate concerns to the supervisor when necessary.
• Assist in setting up and closing the bar, including cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and securing bar items.
• Follow company policies, food safety standards, health and sanitation regulations, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
