Job summary

Avaloq Group is seeking a Software Release Engineer (Release Manager) in the Philippines, based in Makati with hybrid work options. You will oversee release planning, packaging, and live deployment for Avaloq software releases, coordinating with project managers, delivery managers, and client managers to ensure smooth Go Live.

The role requires a Computer Science/Engineering degree and extensive experience in release/configuration management, plus hands-on experience with DevOps tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering Degree.
• Overall 7 years of experience with 3-5 years in Release Management and/or Configuration Management, ideally in banking/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and rollout various Avaloq products in controlled environments.
• End-to-end accountability for successful delivery of releases into Live environments.
• Validate release scope with project managers and delivery managers.
• Ensure technical validation of all releases for Go Live.
• Create and manage implementation plan, release meetings and production cutover.
• Handle software packaging, code merge and log analysis of Avaloq core and front platforms.
• Collaborate with specialists for cross-domain activities.
• Build trustworthy relations with developers, PMs, Test Managers, and Client Managers.
• Document and educate users on release, configuration, DevOps, and deployment best practices.
