Job summary

Avaloq Group is seeking an Output Software Engineer to join our Business Product Domain. You will design, develop and operate software for secure, compliant banking document production using Quadient Inspire Flex and Java.

You will build templates, integrate data sources, and ensure multilingual rendering across channels, while collaborating with architects, product owners and engineers to deliver high-quality, auditable outputs.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience with Quadient Inspire Flex, including Inspire Designer, template creation and editing, reusable components, styles, business rules, data mapping, multilingual content, interactive documents, rendering and output validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure and reliable output management solutions for banking documents, in line with the product roadmap, client requirements, regulatory expectations and agreed quality standards.
• Create, configure and maintain document templates and reusable components using Quadient Inspire Flex, ensuring multilingual support and correct rendering across delivery channels.
• Develop Java-based services, extensions and integrations connecting banking applications, data sources and downstream distribution channels with the output management platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate document requirements into robust technical designs, data mappings and implementation plans.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of document solutions, including versioning, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, incident resolution, upgrades and retirement, with secure coding practices.
• Implement unit, integration, regression and output-comparison tests to verify rules, data accuracy and layout quality.
• Perform code and template reviews, contribute to engineering standards and documentation, and share expertise through knowledge-transfer sessions.
