Bridgit, a leading Australian fintech lender, is seeking a Bank Reconciliations Officer to own daily bank reconciliations across operating and trust accounts and support finance operations.

You will ensure data integrity, review loan file data before funding, and drive process improvements with automation and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting systems.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily bank statements across operating and trust accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances with internal teams.
• Maintain reconciliation records and support period-end close processes.
• Process accounts payable within delegated approval limits.
• Support the wider finance team with daily and month-end tasks.
• Verify loan file data against documents and system records before funding.
• Contribute to pre-funding checks and data quality controls.
• Drive process improvements with automation and AI tooling.
