The role focuses on conducting internal audits to support the finance team and ensure operations comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will perform audits on operations and controls, prepare audit reports with actionable recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements while staying updated with regulatory changes and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in external auditing, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of audit principles, methodologies, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in data analysis, risk assessment, and report writing.

What you'll be doing as an Internal Auditor :

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement;
• Assists/support in the development and/or enhancement and implementation of audit policies and procedures;
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting and standards and industry regulations;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field;
• At least 1 year of experience in external auditing, preferably within the banking or financial services industry and experience in a compliance or risk management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry;
• Strong understanding of audit principles, methodologies, and compliance requirements;
• Proficiency in data analysis, risk assessment, and report writing;
