Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least two years external audit experience in rural banks or similar.
• Knowledge of banking operations, internal controls, risk management.
• Familiarity with BSP regulations and AML/CFT requirements.
• Willing to undergo banking/compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with BSP regulations, AML/CFT, banking laws, and internal policies.
• Review and update compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct regular compliance monitoring and testing.
• Assist in ensuring proper implementation of KYC and CDD requirements.
• Monitor compliance with AML policies and applicable regulations.
• Identify, document, and report compliance deficiencies and regulatory issues.
• Prepare compliance reports for Management, the Board of Directors, and relevant committees.
• Conduct independent audits of branches, departments, processes, and financial/operational activities.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify weaknesses, irregularities, operational risks, and potential fraud indicators.
