Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Baker-Ovenman who will prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked goods in line with company recipes and standards. The role requires teamwork and commitment to food safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include setting up proofer and chiller, monitoring ovens, checking product quality, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the production team as needed. Shift work including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply!
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Can follow instructions and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.
• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.
• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.
• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.
