Job summary

Artifex Master Builder, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate a backhoe and other heavy machinery on site, performing excavation, grading, and earthmoving tasks while ensuring equipment maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate holds an NC II Certificate in Heavy Equipment Operation with 2–5 years of relevant experience and valid certification or driver's license.

Qualifications

• NC II Certificate in Heavy Equipment Operation is required.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certification and/or driver's license.
• Knowledge of safe operation, daily inspection, preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
