Job summary

McNeil & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Manila team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using .NET Core, Azure, and microservices, with SQL Server as the database backend.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship features, ensure performance and quality, and help drive automation and deployment practices. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Learning and problem-solving attitude, ability to learn new concepts and technologies.
• Experience with server-side programming in .NET and C# on .NET Core/.NET 5.0.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Knowledge of UI basics (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Experience with Azure cloud services and containerization (AKS).
• Experience with microservices architecture and API design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core and Azure.
