Job summary

McNeil & Co. is seeking a skilled backend developer to design, develop, and maintain the backend of our applications using .NET Core, Azure, and microservices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features, ensure performance, and fix issues while maintaining high code quality. The role requires strong C#, EF Core, SQL Server skills and hands-on experience with Azure deployments (Web Apps, AKS) and containerization.

Qualifications

• Learning and problem-solving attitude.
• Front-end basics include React JS, CSS and HTML5.
• Server-Side: .NET Core / .NET 5.0 using C#.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core (Code First/Database First).
• Familiarity with SQL Server and DBMS concepts.
• UI design basics and API design patterns.
• DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira.
• Object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns.
• Asynchronous and multi-threaded programming experience.
• Azure cloud experience.
• Deploying Web Apps and APIs on Azure (App Service / AKS).
• Containers and container registries.
• Strong Git versioning practices and CI/CD familiarity.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
