Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Data Security Consultant in the Philippines to translate business, regulatory, and compliance requirements into robust classification, labeling, and DLP/records policies. The role requires designing Microsoft Purview Information Protection solutions and guiding end-to-end taxonomy, retention, and encryption models.

You will lead workshops, perform gap analyses, and craft actionable deliverables, including auto-labeling rules and runbooks, while communicating

Qualifications

• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into data protection policies and controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection or equivalent
• Ability to design taxonomy, labeling framework and retention schedules
• Strong executive communication translating tech decisions to business impact
• Azure Information Protection / Purview certifications required

Responsibilities

• Translate business, compliance, and regulatory requirements into classification models, sensitivity labels, retention labels, and DLP/record-management policies.
• Conduct security assessment workshops, gap assessments, and current-state maturity analysis for Information Protection & DLP
• Lead end-to-end design of Microsoft Purview Information Protection including taxonomy design, labeling framework, retention schedules, and encryption models.
• Structured thinking to convert ambiguous requirements into design artefacts.
• Draft Microsoft Purview DLP policies for key workloads.
• Develop data discovery & classification strategy including auto-labeling rules, SIT mapping, prioritization, and phased rollout
• Drive operating model creation including Runbooks, RACI matrices, SOPs, escalation flows, and analyst playbooks
