Job summary

ConnectOS, a leading Philippine employer, is seeking a senior data/ software engineer to design and optimize scalable data pipelines and microservices in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite at Mega Tower, Mandaluyong, 2 days work-from-home).

You will collaborate with analytics and product teams, apply AWS data services, and contribute to AI-powered data solutions, including LLM-enabled workflows and prompt engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong Python programming and SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services including Redshift, S3, Lambda.
• Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• IaC experience with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
• AI/ML background with knowledge of LLMs and AI technologies.
• Prompt engineering for AI/LLM use cases.
• Ability to evaluate and improve LLM outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines, microservices, and system integrations.
• Partner with analytics, technology, and business stakeholders to design and enhance data models for BI and enterprise decisions.
• Conduct data analysis to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues with high data quality and reliability.
• Maintain and improve cloud-based data infrastructure for scalability, performance, security, and resilience.
• Build, deploy, and maintain customer-facing generative AI solutions using LLMs and related technologies.
