Be part of AIA Philippines's Technology Hub, the AIA Digital+ Philippines. The Cloud Operations Specialist will support day-to-day cloud activities across business units on Azure, with incident, change, request, and problem management at the core.

Qualifications

• 4+ years proving experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with open-source tech, software development, and systems engineering.
• Experience in network infrastructure, databases, compute and storage systems.
• Understanding of scalable computing systems / AKS.
• Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Experience supporting Enterprise Public Cloud Services and automation/scripting.
• Liaise with service providers to ensure operational processes follow incident management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Containers/Orchestration.
• Understanding of Infrastructure-As-Code tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Chef/Puppet).
• Relevant professional certifications (Azure, AWS, ITIL etc)

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day cloud operations for AIA business units on Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Administer incident-, change-, request-, and problem management processes.
• Analyze systems to identify flaws affecting cloud security.
• Upload business information to cloud platforms and create retrieval mechanisms.
• Stay updated on cloud computing trends to advise on best practices.
• Troubleshoot cloud application failures or security flaws.
• Identify and fix infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues.
• Automate system operations to improve efficiency and speed.
• Evaluate best cloud solutions with engineering and development teams.
• Address deployment risks and performance concerns.
• Provide support and guidance to meet customer requirements.
