Job summary

Aprio is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Information Technology Team in a hybrid role. You will design and deploy AI/ML solutions on Azure, build APIs, and implement MLOps while collaborating with tax, audit, and advisory teams to drive client value.

You will mentor junior engineers, stay current with AI advancements, and contribute to POCs and documentation. The role offers growth opportunities at a fast-growing CPA/advisory firm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AI architecture, design, and deployment with Microsoft Azure Cloud Technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, R, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and integrating AI models.
• DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), automated testing.
• Knowledge of data architecture, databases, and data lakes (SQL, NoSQL, Azure Synapse).
• Experience with vector databases or retrieval-augmented generation.
• Knowledge and experience of prompt engineering and fine-tuning large models.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI/ML solutions aligned with business goals.
• Define architecture and data pipelines; select AI tools per project.
• Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of AI systems.
• Build, test, and deploy AI models on Azure platforms (Azure ML, Cognitive Services, Synapse).
• Develop APIs for data exchange with internal systems and Power Platform integration.
• Implement CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and automated testing.
• Establish MLOps for CI/CD and monitoring of models.
• Collaborate with tax, audit, and advisory teams to identify AI use cases.
• Translate requirements into technical specs; mentor junior engineers.
• Stay current with AI advancements; develop POCs for innovative solutions.
• Create documentation for models and data pipelines; ensure privacy and ethics.
