Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs seeks a senior AI Architect to design and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will define architecture, data pipelines, and integration points with business systems like Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Power BI.

The role emphasizes security, scalability, and maintainability while advancing AI capabilities across advisory services. The ideal candidate will lead AI projects, mentor junior engineers, and stay at the forefront of AI techniques, including

Qualifications

• Experience designing AI architectures and deploying on Microsoft Azure cloud
• Strong knowledge of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
• Familiarity with Power Platform and integrating AI models with Power BI/Apps/Automate
• Proficient in DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated testing
• Understanding of data architectures, data lakes (SQL/NoSQL, Azure Synapse)
• Experience with vector databases or retrieval-augmented generation
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning large models
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to mentor junior AI engineers and developers
• Prior AI experience in accounting tech is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI/ML solutions aligned with business objectives
• Define architecture and data pipelines; select AI tools/frameworks
• Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of AI systems
• Build, test, deploy AI/ML models on Azure or industry-standard platforms
• Develop APIs and integration points with existing systems (Power BI, Dynamics 365, SharePoint)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automated testing
• Establish MLOps practices for CI/CD, delivery and monitoring
• Optimize model performance for production latency and scale
• Adopt infrastructure-as-code to improve reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with tax, audit, and advisory teams to identify AI use cases
• Translate domain requirements into technical specifications and AI solutions
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers
• Stay updated with AI advancements and experiment with new techniques
• Create PoCs and document AI models, data pipelines, and architecture
