Job summary

Cloud Bridge in the Philippines seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable AWS-based infrastructure with a strong AI focus. The role requires hands-on coding across Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular, plus robust automation via Terraform and AWS CDK.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, drive security and resilience, and stay updated on generative AI developments, cloud-native deployment practices, and SDLC

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on AWS infrastructure and automation experience.
• Experience building cloud-native apps and services.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Experience with AI technologies/services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock).
• Modern engineering practices: TDD, CI/CD, source control.
• Hands-on Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Front-end frameworks: React or Angular.
• Understanding of cloud security, resilience and operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure solutions meeting business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using AWS CDK and Terraform.
• Build scalable applications and services using Python, React.js, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
• Support continuous improvement of cloud platforms - performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and technical standards.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across cloud environments.
• Share knowledge and support less experienced team members.
• Follow established SDLC, security, and AI governance frameworks.
• Stay current with cloud computing, distributed systems, and generative AI developments.
