Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Taguig is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable AWS-based infrastructure platforms with a hands-on cloud and AI governance focus.

You will implement IaC using Terraform and AWS CDK, develop automation, and deliver secure, scalable services in collaboration with engineering teams.

Infrastructure Engineer

Hybrid set-up (2x WFH, 3x RTO/week) | BGC, Taguig

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's team. You'll design, build, and maintain scalable AWS-based infrastructure platforms, with a strong programming background and hands-on experience delivering cloud-based solutions using AI technologies.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure solutions meeting business and technical requirements
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using AWS CDK and Terraform
• Build scalable applications and services using Python, React.js, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions
• Support continuous improvement of cloud platforms - performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Contribute to solution design discussions and technical standards
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across cloud environments
• Share knowledge and support less experienced team members
• Follow established SDLC, security, and AI governance frameworks
• Stay current with cloud computing, distributed systems, and generative AI developments

Essential Requirements

• Strong AWS experience - cloud infrastructure and automation
• Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications and services
• Infrastructure as Code - Terraform and/or AWS CDK
• Experience with AI technologies and services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock)
• Modern engineering practices - TDD, CI/CD, source control
• Hands-on Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Front-end frameworks - React or Angular
• Understanding of cloud security, resilience, and operational best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
