Job summary

CW Global People in Makati City, Metro Manila, seeks a System Administrator with AWS experience for a full-time role. You will manage AWS EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring security, performance and reliability while supporting IT operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on AWS, Linux/Windows server experience, solid networking knowledge, backup strategies, and relevant certifications; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Production Linux/Windows Server environments knowledge.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs.
• Security best practices and access management understood.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3) and networking components.
• Deploy, configure, and monitor servers and system software.
• Implement backups and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security.
• Manage user access controls and security configurations.
• Apply patches with minimal downtime and document procedures.
• Collaborate with development and infra teams on upgrades.
