Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Global IT organization. The role focuses on building secure, governed cloud services for IaaS and serverless environments, using Terraform and CloudFormation, in an agile setting.

You will maintain IaC stacks, respond to cloud issues, assist users with access and security practices, and help migrate to new releases while ensuring health of cloud environments and adherence to ITIL and Scrum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
• Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud experience in AWS.
• Solid IaC experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong SDLC and DevOps practices, CI/CD.
• Solid networking and security knowledge (VPN, VPC, SG, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Boehringer standard IaaS/Cloud solutions using IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Manage and upgrade/migrate legacy IaC stacks.
• Respond to cloud issues and monitoring alerts.
• Assist users with access issues ensuring MFA and secure key management.
• Maintain health of cloud environments (patching, antiviruses, backups).
