Axos Financial is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Internal Audit to lead the final stages of implementing a digital IA platform, while also supporting audit execution, methodology, and process improvement initiatives. This hybrid role partners with U.S.-based IA leadership to deliver a scalable, standardized audit operating model.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• CIA preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting and audit experience.
• Experience in financial services or SOX-regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee final phases of IA software platform implementation and stabilization.
• Administer IA software including user access, roles, permissions, and governance.
• Maintain and improve audit workflows, templates, and reporting within the platform.
• Support audit planning, execution, and issue remediation using the platform.
